Porphobilinogen synthase (Tgon007037) Ligands
The intensity of a fluorescent dye in the presence of protein is plotted as a function of temperature. As the dye binds
to unfolded protein, its fluorescence increases. The melting temperature of the protein is defined as the temperature at
which the fluorescent intensity is increasing most rapidly. A small molecule that stabilizes the protein will increase the
melting temperature of the protein. In the following charts, intensity is normalized to the maximum intensity.
